Celtics edge Pacers in Game 1 of East finals
Tatum, Brown lead Celtics to 133-128 overtime win
Jayson Tatum scored 36 points and Jaylen Brown hit a 3-pointer with 1.8 seconds remaining to force overtime, and the Boston Celtics beat the Indiana Pacers 133-128 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals on Wednesday night.
The Celtics trailed by 10 points with 7:17 remaining in regulation, but rallied to force overtime. In overtime, the Celtics outscored the Pacers 11-2 to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
Brown finished with 29 points, and Marcus Smart added 24. Domantas Sabonis led the Pacers with 30 points and 13 rebounds.
